I have what I believe is the FVD sport exhaust. I bought it used. The quality is excellent and I really do like the sound, as do many others that hear it. IMO, it does drone pretty bad, like all the others, between 2k-3k. Below that and above that it's not horrible. I think it makes good power, but I only had stock before this, so nothing to compare to. This exhaust gave me about 20whp and TQ by itself. If you do not mind some drone, I think this is a great exhaust. Depending what it cost, you can probably get "someone" to make you one that sounds as good and doesn't drone (as much) or at all. Sorry I have nothing more conclusive for you, other than, if you do not want drone, you do not want this exhaust.

Thanks man. Funny that you are the only 1 to have any thing to sy about them.

It's also funny that the web site talks about the materials used in the design of their mufflers are to keep the car from having drone. But that may be the newer mufflers?

My car has a little drone right now between 1700 & 2300 ( city cruising speed ) but it's not that bad.

Does any1 know if you can change the cats? I have a guy wanting to sell me 1 w/ 100 cell cats. Is drone part of having a great sounding / open exhaust?

Ask the guy if you can try it? Doesn't take long to swap. The cost of shipping will be less than the cost of an exhaust you hate? All he can say is no?

As cheap as I'm getting it I shouldn't have a problem reselling it. Exhaust get passed around here like a 2$ hoe on payday.

I saw set get mounted on a 09 C4S today. Both myself and the mechanic that did the work agreed that the quality and fit are nice. It sounded good too.
