Hogapalooza has a reputation beyond repute

Chevy Tahoe, 2 or 4 door. 1999 to 2004. You can buy it and trick it out for less then 10K. They run forever and are cheap to fix.

What about a new Infiniti M with all wheel drive? I have an 06 M45 and it has plenty of power and every tech/luxury thing you could get, at a lower price than a BMW or Benz, and absolutely zero issues. The Lexus cars are too boring - the Infiniti is a step in the BMW direction without the repair hassles.

My wife loves her '06 Infiniti FX35 - NEVER been in the shop for repairs (50k miles), just oil changes etc. Handles very well and they make them with V8s as well if you want more power.

I get to drive it on occasion and I enjoy it as well.

What about an Acura MDX? Only 300hp, but cheap and roomy. Has all the bells and whistles, can seat 7 if needed, and most likely will not break down within the first 4 years.
