hey guys, i had my car for awhile now and i think its time to make it a lil faster! i already have an exshaust on the car and an (epl) programed.
i'm wanting to make a lil over 500hp, what setup should i do? and will my transmission hold up? thanks!

 

Until 500-550whp you are save but the torque must not be to high.

 

What is your budget for upgrades ?

 

Take a look at this thread i feel like its the most conclusive as far as options. Just like the 6 speeders HP and TQ are gonna require some tranny work at some point.

well my budget hoping be under 7grand!.i cant spend too much my wife and kids might not have any food for the holidays!!LOL

 

what kind of kit do you have? is it safe on your car?

 

a set of A28's and a 5bar FPR/injectors from tony would be a nice addition for ya

 

If all you have is a tune and exhaust...
IMO you need a air filter/intake, hoses, Ypipe, ICs, FPR, and DVs.
The better it breaths, the better it runs.
And you will really need it w/ bigger turbos.

 

I have stock k16 with ecu and exhaust + dv's.

I presume that you have K16 so if I had your budget I would go with k16/16g + intercoolers, piping...
