2 more cars hit 4's this weekend
SubscribeMine and edelectra's. Ed from NY ran a staggering 4.65 yesterday in his Protomotive GT30 997TT with 1 shift on a 2.6% decline, putting him in the #5 position of all-time fastest Porsche 60-130 runs. He tried 3 different sets of tires and replaced his clutch to get to this point.
I spent a hour today adjusting my gain on my EBC trying to find the sweet spot for the fastest boost transition on a mix of 100 and 110 octane fuel. I finally found it (11% on this mix vs 15% on straight 100) and nailed a 4.95 with 2-shifts on a .9% decline.
I don't know if Ed has anything left in his car, but I'm at the limits of my fuel system. Mine was just starting to creep lean at this boost level (11.9:1), so no more boost for me unless I upgrade the pumps and lines.

I was at 65% boost (which correlated to a peak of 1.74 BAR...60% = 1.6 BAR which I run on 100 octane), my gain was at 11% on this fuel (normally 15% on 10) and my set gain is always at 0.Originally Posted by raineycd
That's crazy fast! Congrats! What are you EBC settings, Scott?
I recommend not running as much gain as I do on your stock rods.
Sweet guys.
Scott are you running on all stock fuel plus injectors/reg?

Cool! Thanks for sharing! Seems these cars come on pretty hard so not much need to turn the gain up!Originally Posted by Divexxtreme

Your K24/18s come on very hard, and early...so you don't need to change anything from what Mark already has you running.Originally Posted by raineycd

You just ned to run some C16 at 1.5 BAR.

Sambo - I'm on a piggyback fuel pump with 60lb injectors. My injectors are good to 900whp, but the pumps are maxed out at this level (app. 800whp).Originally Posted by SamboTT

Wow. That is difficult to comprehend just how fast that really is. Congrats to both on achieving results that few can.

Maybe after some more fueling! Congrats again!Originally Posted by Divexxtreme

I see. That is pretty good considering I am using the same injectors and running out of pump at 600rwhp(ish maybe 625). I spoke to Todd about the in-line pump a while ago but was hoping for some in-tank solution. What a difference though. I think it's time. The bar keeps rising around here. Must be nice knowing you are only a pump set-up away from a ton more power!Originally Posted by Divexxtreme
