Just received a coupon for the above mentioned from Stevens Creek. It expires 12/30/2010 but thought some people might try to price match with their local dealers. Seems like a very good price.

 

...usually those coupons say in very small print "does not include oil" or similar laughable verbiage.

Me too. It takes about 30 minutes once after you figure it out the first time. There is a good article on instructions around here somewhere. I get 9 quarts of 0w-40 at Walmart for cheap, maybe $7.25 each, then a $17 filter at O'rileys. Costs about $90 for 30 minutes of work.

I would take it to Porsche for $130 to do it for sure, but my local Porsche wants $235 and I haven't found a deal at an indy and don't trust other places, so I'll likely just do it myself. Every 15k miles is great, and realistiically I'll put 5-6k miles on my car a year and DIY once every two years only.

Confirmed this great price today... $139. (including tax) when I had my oil changed.

Also, free wash (although wasted cause it's raining) and multipoint inspection.

People shouldn't be so skeptical - there are decent deals out there once in a while at P dealers :-)
