btw, I'm no expert of how to tie things down; if you cross tie the rear like that, is it better than tying on the same side or worse?

 

I'm not sure if it's the perfect way to tie it down, but it worked for my trips.
Last time I was over at Watkins Glen, I watched how most guys trailers their P cars.
I did use towels to protect the wheel finish.
Worked like a champ.

The trailer isn't mine... I just fixed it up, replaced the decking, fixed the trailer brakes, made the lights work, and had it inspected. For that service, I have use whenever I want...

 

How does the tundra do towing the trailer and porsche? Strugle, barely notice it?

 

I've done about 1,000 miles with the car or JD3320 on back.
Truck is a monster and pulls no problem. Gas mileage does tank to about 12mpg when fully loaded.
Get the trailer brakes adjusted right and you forget anything is back there...
