Just got a new carbon fiber hood to balance out my Rottec parts.

 

Interesting... don't see it on their site. ?

 

Just the rear wing and front spoiler are Rottec, the hood is off the auction site. Saved almost 20lbs

 

I've always like CF hoods. I don't know if it is the angle, it seems that there is a gap between the hood and the fenders.

 

There's a place in LA selling carbon fiber hoods for like $250 or something cheap; but it says that they're not street legal...?

Does anyone know if the cops actually care about this, or if this is just a CYA on the seller's part?

 

Car looks very nice specially with that grey color.CF goes right with that grey.

they say not street legal because your supposed to have hood pins on it cause its ability to fly up being light is greater then a steel hood, i have never heard of a Police officer giving anyone trouble with a Carbon hood most wont even know what it is let alone there be a law they can cit against it.
