I need help getting exhaust off, the turbo bolts seems to either a 3/8" or 9mm, the
upper bolt seems to be bigger?? But all I can get on it is a tiny open end wrench, I'm afraid of stripping it, they are very tight!! Sprayed it w/PB blaster and let it sit over night, a socket will fit but no room to attach the wrench to the socket head. Also, the "quick connect", for the O2 sensors I can easily reach from top of engine bay, one of the 2 comes off easy, other doesn't seem to have a release clip?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Scott
I thought they were 10mm nuts. I found for the top nuts you have to use a small box end wrench to start and it will only move about 1/4 to 1/3 a turn at a time. After a few complete turns you can get a short socket on it if you connect that to a universal joint and the uni on a small head socket wrench. The bottoms are a little easier to get to.
It just takes time so be patient.

As mentioned above, all 4 bolts holding the exhaust to the turbos have the same size. You need a 13mm wrench.
A curved box end wrench helps for the top nuts. Here is a pic of the 13mm wrenches that are supplied with the Europipe exhaust. The small section of metal tubing in the picture slides over the end of the one ended box end wrench to gain more leverage and to ease the placement of the wrench.
Mine were rusted on pretty good too. Lots of penetrating oil and patience. Good luck.. Hope this helps.

Nothing is American measurement on these cars. If something seems to be closer to 3/8" on the exhaust, then that's because of the inherent corrosion that happens on all exhaust parts due to time.
Sorry, it is a 13mm. If you're having to push pretty hard just be steady. Also use a open palm w/ the wrench directly in the middle of your palm right above the wrist.
That way if it slips off or releases quickly you won't smash your fingers.
You can also use a dead blow hammer to give the wrench a sharp hit. Again just have patience and be steady w/ pressure.

All the nuts are easy to reach with a crowfoot wrench and a really long extension. This approach also lets you torque them properly when you put it back together.
A cheap set from Harbor Freight works just fine for occasional use stuff like this.
