Cold weather radio problem

HI,By any chance has any one out there encountered this problem with the later yr. stereo/nav systems... On intial cold start up only{over night stay/long parked}, when it is colder then 25 degrees out,the radio lights up/powers up BUT no volume OR it will have volume for a few seconds and then go to no volume at all.......If I hit the power button a few times, then I will get volume .Also after this happens, then it is fine all day Until it is parked at "night" in the cold for along period of time.......Over the last 2 yrs the Porsche dealer has replaced the head unit, the amp. and the fiber optic cable.....So,the CPO warranty is going to run out soon and nothing has helped this cold weather gremlin.Maybe it is out there and others might have this problem??So then a normal glitch??Just like the single CD player in the dash ,when used, skips when you hit expansion joints with both wheels/the sharp jolts...Thanks for your help.......Happy Holidays

I'm not sure if this is the same problem because it doesn't get that cold here. But I have had the situation where on start up in the morning, the radio seems like it has to reset itself a few times before functioning properly. When this happens (once in a while), the display usually just says "Porsche" on it. I can usually get it to work after selecting CDC or FM a couple of times. Guess it has trouble waking up just like me :-).

Thanks for your info.......Yes my original radio ha that similar problem with only the Porsche screen and having to hit the buttons to get it to work. But the replacement one had the above problem now.Although now, when there is no volume ,if I go to CD mode, then it gets volume and I do not have to turn the radio off and on.........
