Well, it looks like Park Place is pulling through. They called yesterday and told me that they are still working on it but one way or another they are going to take care of me. We'll see how much they "take care" of me but at least it is progress...

Thanks for the follow up. It's good to hear that the dealer is doing the right thing for a customer. Persistance can pay off...

Hmm - I bought my 2002 TT in Oct 2009 and it was CPO'd. According to the build sheet the original warranty started on 2/08/2002.

That would suggest the CPO started seven years and six months after the original warranty started. Is there a time limit on these things?

I assume the slave and accumulator require similar labor costs?

Well they called back and together, Park Place and Prizm, are going to cover me. I was very impressed with their service when I bought the car and I'm even more impressed now!

As I understand it, you can certify a car that is less than 8 years old. Looks like you jut made it!

Thats really cool. I have been thinking about getting a Porsche recently and have been debating on where to go. Would you recommend Park Place as a dealership or are there others that you could recommend?

Yes, it has was the best purchasing experience I have ever had - even before this issue. I highly recommend you speak with Ryan McWilliams as a sales consultant. He was knowledgable, honest, and very reasonabable to work with.

As far as the slave, the GM personally me called to apologize for the inconvenience and offer to financially address the issue. I dont want to give all the details but lets just say I am more than happy with the results. If that's not excellent service I don't know what is.
