993 vs 996 K24

Whats difference between 993 K24 and 996 K24? Have found a 993 K24 for pretty cheap and need a K24 for 996. If the difference is slight like impeller size is it something that can be changed when uograding to 18G

one of the mounting holes on the exhast side is in a slightly different location. That hole misses lining up by about 1/4".
