rear strut brace install

Just rcvd the evo strut brace,the frt went in easily but having a hell of a time with the rear strut brace trying to fit it btwn the woofer brackets n rear firewall.anyone done this bfore?appreciate your advise.tks.

Were you able to get that flimsy plastic crap back on after installing the front strut brace??

are you refering to the black shroud/cover that goes over the battery?hv to modify the woofer brackets to get the rear struts to fit,its a real pain to install it n even when i am done the woofer no longer fits flush to the rear carpeted wall.

Yes. I am talking about the battery cover flimsy plastic. Does it fit with the front brace installed?

mike;
mine fit perfectly.......did you lower the hydraulic/brake reservoir thingy?if not,you hv to do it by reversing the mounting clip sliding it under the body metal sheet so that the wiper brackets can also be fasten securely utilising the same fastening clip.

I haven't bought strut braces yet. Just finding out how it would look once in.
