As we all know the front bumper grills on 996s do a poor job of keeping trash out. We've seen anything from leaves to cigarette butts to litter back in there! The solution is to install Mesh instead of the bumper grilles.

We opt for the german-made SpeedArt mesh as it's very high quality woven mesh that does a great job of keeping the junk out. We get this mesh in sheets and form it to your bumper then secure it with rivets and glue.

The work looks great but the silver looks terrible.

 

Screen door. Yuck. But black would be OK. How fine is the mesh, not enough to impede airflow I assume? It's a good idea to do this, the crud that get's caught back there can only be gotten out by removing the bumper and the air scoops.
