Torque numbers needed - half shafts
60 ftlb or 81 nm. Apply proper torque. It is really important. And also used a good calibrated torque wrench. I had a bad experience with that one

Just used an old Craftsman torque wrench that was out of calibration and my half shaft simply disconnected. But was lucky it happen at low speed...https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...libration.html
Yes I am. Take a look at this picture from the repair manual...Last item... We are talking about 8 mm allen bolts not torx....

Okay, update. The bolts to the front transaxle are actually 6mm bolts and there are 6 of them. The rear half-shaft bolts going to the transmission are larger bolts and there are 8 of them. Do you think the repair manual is giving torque settings meant for the rear half-shafts? The reason I ask is because the other half-shaft that I wasn't replacing had the 6 6mm bolts tightened to 25ft-lbs.
The torque I mention are for the rear half shaft bolts which are 10 X 65 mm (8 of them) . Oh my god I'm sorry just realized you were asking for the front...Good thing you were more awake than I was... Sorry again. The front (6) are 8 X 50 mm and the torque is 29 ftlb as seen on the pic.
