My 996 GT2 with vid on p 3. (How much torque an HP on stock engine?)

Hi everybody,
I'm new in this board. I'm from austria/vienna and I drive a 996 GT2 in black. I am going to give it some more hp with bigger K24, intake and so on.

Here are some pics:

I have been reading many hours in this board and there where many usefull informations but for one i found different opinions. How much Hp/torque can the stock engine provide. I know that the rods are the weakest part in the chain.

Which setups/hp an pressure do you drive on your stock enginge, an whow did a rebuilt? I would be glad to get usefull informations!

I am making over 600 at the wheels on pump, nearly 800 on C16.

Chris Powell made 864. The key is proper mods and tuning by someone who knows what they are doing.

In the U.S. our premium gas at stations is either 91 or 93 octane. For race gas we use at least 104 octane (Sunoco GT Plus or MS 109) and go higher C16 etc...

Those inlet pipes are old school. You sure your GT2 doesn't have a tiptronic

those boost hoses are HUGE

Hook up with a good local independant shop that will work with an experienced and knowledgeable tuner.

I recommend Protomotive.
