opinions on cf exterior bits on a blue car
Hey guys,
Just picked up a 996tt and since I am content on performance for now I figured I would do a little exterior modding. I'm thinking of wrapping the side mirrors and rear wing blade in cf. Problem is I can't get a good grasp on what it would look like. I have searched the forums and can't find anything besides a few outdated threads where the pics are no longer working. So does anyone have some pics of cf mirrors on a blue 996? Or opinions on the look. Thinking of going black rims and cf mirrors and rear wing blade.

We have CF mirror housing and CF rear spoiler blade available. I've installed both items on a Lapis Blue 996TT before. I don't have pics of it but they look very nice. We also carry other CF exteriro and interiro parts for 996TT such as CF front lip, CF side scoops and CF GT3 seats. PM me if you need more info.

do you have pics of the dry weave? I see only the glossy finish wing blade and mirrors. Thanks. Also, how sturdy is the clearcoat? I had a cf bmw hood and trunk by vorsteiner and the clearcoat around the curved edges started fading badly after 2 and a half years.
Not sure if you did but I always recommend having the body shop put a nice clear coat on after fitting it to your car. The jell coat is't a great finish and shouldn't be used as a final finish unless you're not concerned with it. It will dull.
