Getting back to my story once the car was unloaded, I took it out for a quick spin to the drug store to get my wife's gift a box of chocolates and a nice card., Did you think the car was for her?

The car is an 02 w/ 15k miles modded, factory aero kit. Please help me identify what the box is in the glove box, radar or jammer also what is the little wire with a button by the drivers side floor. Thanks guys since my last car went to board member Almo, I think I will keep this one for a while.

Nice story The box doo-hickey says 'shifter', so it's probably an anti-laser device. Do you have diodes installed on the front bumper somewhere? The little button is probably the jammer kill switch.

Nice car! That box is the brain for the laser shifter system you have. It's a Passport escort ZR3 system. They are a bit out of date now but I would leave it in there until you upgrade.

The wire with button is the mute button for the shifter system...

 

It's a passenger side ejector seat control unit. Don't push the little red button under your gear shift **** while you're wife is in the car.

i,ve got a little button too!!!! mine is to turn off the beep beep when my radar dector goes off... drive up to a stop lite and see if the radar goes off then push to buttom, oh **** it could be a flux capastator (give yourself some room when pushing that baby

Car Came from Mi. I had it PPI @Nikolaus performance in Sylvan lake. They did a great job, it helps that the car was perfect. I sold my last 02996tt with 13k on it. Great car that went to a board member. I sod that car because I thought I was going into a cab. Drove the cab and didn't care for it. I found this had it ppi and shipped with Intercity, they were great.

As for the car , it has k24's flash, headers, pipe coil overs and factory aero kit. Funny thing is my first car was flashed and had a pipe and I didn't mod my first car I probably wouldn't have considered this car. I would have missed a great deal. These cars are incredible, perhaps the best bang for your buck, ever. I am very impressed with the car the coil over sups is great well worthnthe $. Anyone considering these cars pick the lowest mileage car available, mods are cheaper when they come with the car. Pull the trigger and go and get one, good luck.
