FNG here (frickin'new guy)

My 04 TT X50 Cab is 2 weeks old and came with a 2" scratch on the left mirror housing;

Question 1, Do I repaint it and have the rear bumperettes shot at the same time?

Or

Question 2, Do I purchase and install CF mirror covers, on sale on Ebay for about $100?

Car is mint and I don't want it to look like a cheap "addon". Anyone have any experence with these?

don't buy cheap cf off ebay, they won't last... i have the same car!!!

 

They are too cheap to be real cf.

Get the full Carbon Fiber mirror shells, they are a minor mod, but one of the favorite I have done on my car. Gives that sporty touch, some people who see my car don't even realize until months later they are there.

I've got a set of CF housings from Ray and I can say that these are perfect in every way. Ray is great to work with and he ships very quickly as well.

BTW, they're very easy to swap out yourself.
