I have toyed with selling my Speed Yellow 03TT over the last few months. Well I drove it yesterday and came to the conclusion that this car is WAY too fun and replacing it with something as fun will be impossible with the money from the sale.
So I am thinking about a full wrap to freshen it up a bit and trick myself into thinking it was a different car

Here are my questions:
- I'm thinking WHITE but opinions are welcome. Maybe Matte White?
- Anyone that has done a full wrap, how do you like it? I'm looking for the good and bad.
- Any idea of the cost from a good shop in SoCal?

White would be my choice, especially with those wheels. I say go for it!

Someone posted pictures recently of a Matte White 996tt and it looked amazing.

His was painted but the look would be the same. I'd think the wrap would be a little easier to care for (especially a matte/flat finish) but am curious to hear what others who have experience with wraps have to say.

 

the yellow makes it individual why change it?

perhaps spend some money on mods if you are bored?? 997 seats for example are a great mod.

i agree , yellow is awesome, BUT if you must , i say go for white or matte white , it looks awesome as for shops in socal there are a few good ones, do a search on here

 

I wouldnt mess with the color, maybe get another set of wheels, new steering wheel, there are some mods you can do to make it feel new to you.

 

God I love speed yellow. But if it isn't working for you a wrap is the way to go. I don't know what part of Socal you're in but try these guys in San Diego. They wrapped my C63 grill at a fair price.

I agree the yellow is cool but understand wanting a change. Another vote for matte white. You will likely not see another. If it looks cool (which it will) you can matte the wheels too as an option! I'm in Socal...Call if you need a hand with any of it.

I have seen many wrap jobs; I think matte grey is the only color that looks good. Those vinyls are thin and not very durable. You may want to look into a satin wrap, which is the same material as the clear bra... strong. It will give your speed yellow a pearl look, and you can keep it longer. However, it won't be cheap.

 

Agreed. Flat white looks AMAZING.
