Ok I understand how difficult it might be to pin point such a noise so ill try describe as accurately as possible..

i don't want to start the thread by saying i think its the clutch so ignore this line lol..

So the noise comes from the back of the car over in the passenger corner (i'm in UK so RHD) and it happens when i put my foot down in say 3rd gear low rpm then it goes away after about 4k rpm.. its like a grinding sort of noise.

omg my description isnt very good.. but maybe its a common fault.? Turbo heat shields? Prop shaft?

 

Any one want to have a shot in the dark ? before i go mad at it or take a video perhaps
