Well, I have only driven about 50 miles since my install of the FVD (Bilstein) PSS-9 coilovers, and all I can say is WOW. This is probably the best mod yet!!! I didn't think handleing got any better then the stock Porsches, but let me tell you IT DOES...A LOT BETTER!!! I can feel a huge difference. The "float" and "bobbing" fellings are totally GONE!!! The car stays completely PLANTED to the road like its stuck!!!

I just installed pss9 also but was picking up a KLINK noise on slow speeds. I am taking the car in to see if something has broken loose. Are you picking up anything??

Two questions - 1) will your rear tires rub if lowered more??
2) Did you upgrade your sways??

 

1.)Yes they will, my camber actually had to be adjusted to 2.1(I think) so that it would not rub. The installer did not fell comfortable going any farther because of excessive tire wear. He said if I want to go lower, he has a new control arm that he could "slam" the rear with, and not have to jack up the camber....
2.)No did not upgrade the sways, was told it was completely unnecesary by both FVD and my installer, FVD said that Pro Porsche cup drivers tested multiple sways with the PSS-9s and niether could tell any difference....

Any difference between the FVD and PSS9s that gert sells? Just wondering cos the price seems decent. I'll be needing a set soon.. Better go make my collections in da ghetto.

 

FVD has different springs then Gerts. FVD actually designed (or was a major part of)the Bilstein PSS-9's. Gerts are just the basic Bilstein Springs, FVD has their own made to their custom specs. FVD also matched Gerts price and had them instock...
