Spacer Help Please - new BBS LM's

Hey guys,

So I just bought a set of LM's for the Turbo (hadn't had a set of LM's since my E39 M5 and I really love the way they look on a 996tt) and I wanted to see if you could help me with spacer sizing.

fronts are 19x8.5 +55
rears are 19x11 +63 (they were running a special on these and not the +50's which is why I went with +63 offset)

I put a 15mm H&R hubcentric on the rear but it's not even close to filling out my rear wheel well (I'm lowered on coils as well)

H&R hubcentrics come in 7, 14, 15, 23, 30, 35.. for 996tt applications

I'm thinking about putting the 15's up front and probably a 23 in the rear. The 15's may be too much for the front but since I already have them I'll give them a shot.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank guys

I'm no expert but 23 should work on the rear. Whatever you decide, post some pictures when its done!

If you want aggressive offset, you can run 8.5" ET45 front and 11" ET25 rear on 996TT. That means you need 10mm spacers front and 38mm spacers at rear each corner.

I Rune ET45 front and ET35 rear on my 19" VS-XXs, I rolled the rear fenders. Rear is pretty flush at ET35. Mine are 12s though. I would say do the 30mm spacer for nice fittment. I wouldnt go any bigger because you may rub on the outside.

Go 30mm in the rear, 10 mm in the front should work well too. If you dont mind me asking, could you PM what you paid for those LM's. I love the way those wheels look too.

I'm running:
8.5 x 19 ET53 w/14mm spacer - effectively an ET39 (235-35/19)
12 x 19 ET51 w/7mm spacer - effectively an ET44 (315-25/19)

No rubbing and they both fill out the wheel wells equally and nicely - fenders are not rolled.

Depening on your tire sizes or brands, they do make a little differences. I say you can easily run 11mm front and 26mm back. With my HREs (being resealed/refinished), I was running +39 front and +28 rear (w/9mm spacer).

7 in the front (et 48) and 30 in the rear (et 33) is perfect. Any more than that and you will most likely rub especially in the rear if you are lowered. I run et 50 front and et 35 in the rear with rolled fenders on RUF 19/8.5 and 19/11. I am at GT2 rideheight and do not rub but it's tight.

Thank you all very much for the help!! So you think running a 14 in the front (et 41) will be an issue? Fenders will all be rolled and I'll prob be a bit lower than GT2 ride height.

I'd like to have an aggressive offset but I don't want to sacrifice driveability and performance (function over form).

that will work. you will def want to roll fenders a bit at that height.

Based on the clearance I have on a lowered set up (25.25" to the fender in the front) on a 19x8.5 et 50 with 235/35/19 PS2, when I'm at full turn (full steering wheel deflection) the edge of the tire gets REAL close to touching the fender liner. Any more aggressive and I think it would hit. My opinion is that et 41 will rub in a tight turn. You can see the et50/35 offset on 19x8.5/11 in the attached pictures. This set up does not rub in any situation on 235/35 and 315/25 tires.
