People drool over 996s?

The "real deal" is what gets around the track the fastest.

Otherwise, why be in anything other than the king of bling, an f-car?

If you guys were going to the track once a week, I could see your point. But you're not..... So, I don't know you most of you people persist about track time. You just can't drive that hard on the street to appreciate it.

And yes, some people actually buy a car just for the shear beauty of it, regardless of what kind of lap times it will turn. If that's metro sexual, so be it.

I think most people are pretty impressed with the appearance of 911's. I know I am. I've always lusted after them and I feel very fortunate to have one now.

Adrift, you've got a TT. Nobody ever take a second look at your car at the stop light? Oh wait, let me guess. You think your car is absolutely hideous and you just bought it strictly for it's track capabilities.... A speed yellow one at that. Talk about a "hey, look at me" color.

If I could afford a late model F-car, I'd buy one in a minute. Absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't give a flyin' F' about track times. But I sure would love checking one out in the garage.

If you guys are so hung up on track performance, go buy a used GT3 and be done with it.
