George and I figured we should put our names down too for the 997TT. I'm not selling my 996TT and even if the new Turbos is 18months away, I can't help but think about what to do with it already

LOL he's just pulling your leg at the expense of my two left feet:P

I honestly don't know that I will. I love my tippy, truly do and always will. Depends on if the wifey will want the car again... I'd go either way but probably a 6speed. I don't want the DSG or F1 thing. I think for the sake of modding the 6speed will of course be the most friendly.

LOL nah... I mean I love my EVO too... It really just depends. I think the Tip is much easier for me to drive fast on the track- and yes I can drag race it too but the next Turbo I get I really want to keep it as light as possible and maybe not have it as a daily d anyways. This time the wife will have no say in things

Alex,

I'm going to sit back and watch you on this one. I don't believe the 997 is very mod friendly. Especially the suspension.

Why do you say that Chad? Do you think they will use a different motor in the 997tt or just slap some turbos on the normal 997 motor? Also what is the deal on the suspension. I am just curious about these questions.

Thanks!

Im sure they will use an iteration of the current TT motor, just bored out to 3.8L (most likly) (my speculation)

but they will probobly use a form of the electronic suspenion and dampening meaning it will be much harder to modify and tune to better performance oriented ways

I hope the 997TT will have more buttons than the base 997. Rear view and curb view cameras would be nice.
