I was just thinking about the same. Why waste money (+ labor) on a plain old K24? Do the 18g converstion with better intercoolers. However, since it is a Tip, the torque needs to be tuned down to avoid additional Tip works.

And... did I hear someone said sparkplugs?

The problem is the tip that is not holding the power of the 18g.

I know everything about the work of Markski and yes, he is the men but I found the turbos and intercoolers here in Romania... to ship the turbos to US for the modifications include another costs.

My friend that wants this modifications only wants to beat me so with the k24+wg acc+5bar fpr+exhaust he could do some 450-500whp, I think.

there are vendors in europe who can modify the turbos to use k26 wheels and the likes, Kevin at UMW has done many of these kind of turbo setups that perform much better then stock.

x50 intercoolers are almost not even worth the time to install them now 997.2 intercoolers thats a different story.

and if you dont want the big power or want to use the k26 wheels you can do the 16gXT new billet design for a nice upgrade blackhorseturbo did some crazy things with a set of 16g's on a tip
