Bad you don't realize that this car has a lot less mods then you're so obviosuly you'd make more power.

It has a couple more supporting mods, but nothing substantial...I was just wondering why the torque was so close the hp....my car had low 600's of tq, but low 500's of hp.

I guess its all in the tuning...

who tuned this car?

We did not aquire the parts or do the install. Customer told me it is a EVO kit. I will know more once the I/Cs are upgraded.

Different dyno and setup. Which gear was used - 3rd or 4th? It is really a waste of time comparing dyno numbers. This is why I asked what a stock TT does on this particular dyno. At least then you have some way to compare - although even that can vary depending on temperature, humidity, strength of that particular car.

I/C and intake plumbing. Not sure weather or not we'll be doing plenum and/or Y-pipe.

Yeah we have all locally dubbed Alexei's dyno as the heartbreaker! My old stock s2000 put down a whopping 184 hp on this dyno .

apex factor, my s2k put down 192rwhp. We're both in the range with 20% drive train loss.

My old 2005 STI only put down 210 whp on a Mustang in Sacramento. Highly modded, it eventually made 338. Now that was a hearbreaker!

I commend GIAC and EPL for not pumping up their dynos during calibration.

MT TT put 70 WHP more than a 997 GT2 on 91 (530HP factory claim) on GIAC's dyno. That was before fine tuning and .1 BAR more boost. One of these days I'm going to make time to get down there again and get some final dyno sheets.

There is a well known tuner that actually puts out high great HP cars, but when they pull 400+ AWHP on a stock car, in my mind it takes away from their credibility.

Yeah but imo giac usually dyno low because they aren't actually making much power.

Thanks for reply!

Will you retune after mods?

Do you plan to redyno?

Cool, thanks for the insight. Glad to see my dyno numbers are inflated and Joe, Tom,Bryant, Todd etc as well. Damn, if we had GIAC power, then we might break a record or two. Give me a freakin' break. I have had people say we are way underreporting my numbers for the 60-130 time performed. What is it ? over or under?

Dyno numbers mean nothing. Actual times like you have walk the walk.
