Finally pulled the trigger on a 996 tt. It has been an exhaustive 4 months searching the pacific northwest for the best 01 to 05 996 tt. I am in Vancouver, Canada, where we have a limited supply of these beasts, so I have had to search down the pacific coast of the US. I made the road trip south, and was like a kid in a candy store, as I have never seen so many awesome specimens! After the road trip, I had my heart set on a 05 turbo s with ccb brakes, pss10 suspension, gt3 wheels, fvd chipped, 33k miles in gorgeous gt silver/black for a reasonable price, and great owner, when low and behold, right in my back yard a 01 guards red/black appears, looking awesome with pss10 suspension, 19" vellano wheels with near new ps2s, sport seats, carbon fiber side mirrors, 20% tint side windows, pioneer avic stereo/bluetooth, areo pkg with 38k miles. What to do? I found the best high and low example, both great pricing for their years. In the end, I opted for the 01 which leaves room to add mods, and have some fun. It was a hard decision, and if anyone is looking for an awesome 05 turbo s, pm me for details. Let the mods begin!

It's about 3 years old, so not the latest greatest, but much better than stock and has the ipod interface and blutooth. I Think speakers need to be upgraded.

 

It doesn't seem to have aero package...just the front lip.

The back wing is different, so I am not sure. It does go up with the hydraulics, but looks like a mashaw style. I will post a pic of the wing, and maybe you guys will know what it is.
