northeast lowered cars.. I have a question

looking to find out how low your front spoilers are ... My car is lowered but its in florida, soon coming to Long Island.. I have a T/A style front bumper... at the height of my car now.. I would rip off my spoiler in about an hour on the roads we have here on LI,,, I will have to raise the suspension up ( I have PSS9 FVD version springs) just wondering how much clearance I will need for the bad roads here

You might want to consider going to a stock or GT2 front bumper. That way if you scrape you can just replace the plastic spoiler on the bottom rather than damaging the bumper itself

Techart makes a front end hydraulic lift that you can add to the car

You should be fine ....only thing that you'd have to be careful on is driveways and bumps....no road is that bad....my car sits 3" off the ground and I'm in Chicago these roads suck !

I have a stock bumper and a stock ride height. With the challenges I already have with many driveways, I can't imagine lowering even though it might look and handle better.

There's only one city in the world where you can hit potholes deep enough to scrape the front...that's Rome LOL.

Seriously, I think Omarcoolguy is right.

hly is infamous around these parts
where can I buy the smaller lip spoiler for the TA front bumper?

and does someone make it in polyurethane or some kind of plastic instead of carbon fiber? I think polyurethane should be more scrape tolerant than CF

The tri-state is not the best place for a lowered 996TT, this car just gets so low that you have to choose your battles. I'm scared to death sometimes... kind of sucks to drive around like that.

Precision Porsche sells the smaller lip....I think it's fiberglass.

My ex 996TT was slammed with TA front, without the LOW add on spoiler though, and I had no problems at all (drove all around LI, everywhere)....... Roads did get much worse though than a few years back, but even with my GT2, which is lower (and front lip spoiler lower) I still don't have problems.. You'll be fine!
