I don't know about " logical " but the motec systems are of course very badass.

are you going to run a motec dash in your car and do away with the factory gauges ?

Not sure yet. I would like to run the factory dash but with a full cage in the car does that really matter? All jokes aside I would like to take what is need for the MoTec to run the motor and give the factory ecu any inputs needed for it to be ok. I do see one problem as I decided on GT3 cams and the factory ecu may not like were the cam syncs are clocked compared to the TT cams.

what do you can by going with the motec ECU ?

Of I guess what I am asking, what is it that you need the motec to do that the factory ECU can't ?

Maybe if I knew what you were building it would make more sense to me, but I am guessing that this is not for your daily driver with simple bolt on mods ?

For the newbs, how extensive is the change over operation? Aside from obvious tuning when all is plugged in and ready,,, what has to be done? What IS the list of things to make the full transformation to MoTec? And, this takes you into the ultimate role of tune-ability? Yes?

I think people with flashed cars making big power are brave. I am thinking about using two outputs one to inject fuel and the other to fire a spark plug in the exhaust so I can shoot flames at will. Oh yeah and put a bbq under the hood so when the hunger of being too fast and too furious hits I can cook right there.

Tim you took my idea!!! That has been the hardest process of this build was figuring out how to shoot at LEAST 10ft flames!!!
