Thumbs up Guards Red 996 Turbo Cosmetic Makeover!!

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the Guards Red 996TT that has been a regular customer of USP. If you’re not, here is some history for its credentials… Build/Results Thread! Typical fashion at USP is to take care of the horsepower end of a build first. Since we've got that taken care of, now it’s time for the cosmetic make over! As most of you will agree, the front of the 996 Turbo looks much better when outfitted with the GT2 style bumper. With that being said, we followed suit for this 996 and complimented it with a carbon fiber lip to accent the aggressive look. The rear of the car got attention as well with some hidden secrets. We opted with the GT2 style rear deck-lid to keep the aggressive look balanced. The GT2 deck-lid is actually not just cosmetic, it provides improved air intake for the motor with the air ducts under the carbon fiber wing. The most eye-catching and unique feature of all is the new brake caliper look. I went out on a limb with this one, but in my opinion the GT3 Green turned out very nice! It goes well with the E85, "going green" theme :-) . We also had new color-matched vinyl made for the E85 badge on the doors to tie it together. I know the wheels are still stock (which is a nice look), but new ones are in the plans for the future!

Guards red always a winner but dislike the flex fuel badging and caliper color.

Awesome! Needs to sit a little lower though i think to replicate that ultra-menacing GT2 look.

Looks great. I love guards red. Not sure about the green calipers and flex fuel badge but to each his own. I would have opted to go with body matched painted calipers. Not sure if the factory red calipers are actually guards red. I've thought about painting my calipers Polar Silver to match the body color of my car.
