Unhappy My 02 TT down today V_V

After went back to the Porsche dealer for the remote replacement, 1 min way from it and rev not able to go up 1000rpm, and keeps engine off, start it up and idle not longer keep up, tow to garage finally..

Checked and took out the fuel pump, using external electric to test on it, it works, but it is not able to pump the fuel up, so is that mean its time to replace or I could have something else to repair\rebuild it? Thanks in advance.

What a day to me, 3 weeks ownership and the first tow...

I think that really is a question only you can answer.

If it makes you feel better I had my car towed a week and 1 day after ownership.

I had my car towed before day 1 to get it from CA to OK.. oh wait that doesn't count.

I wouldn't get it rebuilt, I would either replace with new / used (good working condition) OEM or talk with some of the vendors here about an upgrade depending on if you are going to mod it in the future or not.

Fixed...........and this is the issue, a small tube on the fuel pump, seems to be a common issue on its failure.
