Mr. Swed,

what kind of modifications do you have on your car? I.E Turbos, intake piping to turbo chargers, fuel pressure, 5bar or fuel injectors, exhaust? By looking at your logs and where the maximum engine load is, around 4500rpm, I am guessing the car is not stock. And since the DME doesn't seem to retard the timimg that much, at least compared to my CA 91 Octane fed engine, I wonder what octane fuel are you runing? Thanks for any info you may want to share. Looking at Durametric logs is fascinating... Thanks.

PW

I like to see logs that show more than 2-3 lines per second. I am working with 60 and even that's slow by standards, most are seeing 120lines/per sec. and showing individual knock per cylinder anything else is just guess work.

The car is modified with: K16/16g, 997gt2rs intercoolers, 5bar fpr, 2.5" cross flow exhaust with 100cel cats, forge dv´s, forge pressure hose´s, 997 gt3 ssk. running 99 octane RON that should be 92, 93 in US I think

With Durametric you wón't get much more than what your getting in my experience, but just make sure you turn everything off like wireless, bluetooth etc and close any background programs so you can maximise your sampling. You should also tick Corr. factor for BPC with knock control. You need to see if your knocking.
I should of been more clear sorry, but I don't use Duramtetric now I run UMW datalogger night and day difference.

afrs are okay ....ingition tabel looks conservative and good for us91 octane/euro95 ...but this depends on intake temperature

Mr. Swed,

can you also add intake air temperature to your next log? It is handy to see how much heat the turbos add during a pull and with GT2RS inter coolers I am curious to see temperature delta from beginning to end vs my car which has stock 996 inter coolers. I found a gas station which carries 96 octane unleaded at Infineon in CA. I plan on filling up and see what difference in timing pull if any vs 91 octane this makes on my car. Ruf 520 engine kit.

Does it measure individual knock? If it does then great.

Yup, individual knock voltage and individual ignition retard. Took the info from an old 3d. I have yet to use it..
