They are 4wd - trust me. I drive mine all winter and we received over 600 inches of snow this year.

Four wheel drive works. Car appears to have PSM off. You cannot perform a 360 in snow with the PSM on. Ask me how I know.

I think that fact that he is driving around in snow that deep with what appears to be performance tires is proof that the all wheel drive is working.

Later, Steve

Even though they're AWD, there's much more bias towards the rears (starting with as much as 95/5 if I recall). Later on in the video, it looks like the fronts are spinning a bit (hard to tell from the angle). Also, as I recall, AWD is not 4WD -- only 2 wheels will spin if all 4 wheels have no traction due to the differentials.

I drove mine with studded Nokian 7 tires around icetrack for more than 100 laps last winter.
I can tell you its certainly AWD, but not the same type of AWD like Audi quattro. Its heavily rear biased, with the fronts just assisting under most circumstances.
If you get stuck and moving nowhere, only 2 wheels will spin. 1 in the front and 1 at the rear.

Also, the predictability of this system on icy surfaces IMO is almost non existent
The front just suddenly starts to pull in the middle of a corner!

It is my only winter car -- with Pirelli snow tires. I find it very predictable, but drive pretty carefully in snow/ice.
