Battery/generator light on... new battery 6mo ago, no problem starting/running...?
SubscribeCould be the voltage regulator or a marginal charge rate.
My suggestion is a FREE charging system test including load test at Pep Boys or most any parts store that sells batteries.

Put a voltage meter on the battery and see if it's holding its charge with the engine running under a load, like with the lights and AC on. If not it's likely something wrong with the alternator. It's indicated by a steady lowering of voltage output.
Those test systems at auto parts stores won't always pick up on a faulty regulator. I took my bad alternator there and it passed the test. Yours could be a bad regulator but you don't really know and won't unless you replace it and reinstall the entire unit to see if it works. Kind of a PITA.

Good luck finding this Doc, at least you didn't have any CEL's after the recent upgrades.
