stronger bulbs in rear indicators ??
stronger bulbs in rear indicators ??
Every since I got the nite shades out on my rear indicators, they are not so bright for other road users, can I put in stronger bulbs without fusing anything out and if so and exact voltage recommnedations etc ?
What are night shades? Might consider changing the sockets for H3 bulbs to so can put in 55W Halogen bulbs. Now if you do that, or the resistor thing you mentioned, you might have lighting problems because you have disrupted the normal current flow by changing it. I.E.. when you hit the brakes, your front parking lights light up or you use the turn signals and your high beams come on. The reason is because current seeks the lowest path of resistance and those changes will alter the path and direct power thru the other lights.

Polarg makes brighter than stock Orange bulbs which would work for you. You can find them at most "import" car shops.
LED's MAY work, but they may make your computer think that there is no bulb in the socket.
