hey Jpflip, remember the issue that i could not read the oil level, car is not level... Since my Gt2 has xenon self leveling headlights.. Is there a possibility that if the level sensors located underneath aren't calibrated to be the reason for not having the oil level reading???

I have search again into the wiring diagram and cannot found a relation. But we never know since it is impossible to see where this signal come from. With Durametric version 6 (which is still beta) it is possible to operate the headlight motors up and down.... But it is logic because there is a position where all four sensor can detect the car being in perfect level by sensing the compression of the suspension on all four wheels... May be signal is sent to the cluster and aloud the oil level to be checked. But of course Porsche do not supply the logic behind any control unit.....

The alarm system got a tilt sensor but again cannot see a link towards oil level system check. Depending of the year this tilt sensor is located at different position look at the repair manual page 1765....

You should put your request on Renntech.org. The administrator is Loren and he 's got a lot of experience with Porsches....:

Also I have found in the wiring diagram the four "headlight vertical aim control" or ALWR and the signal from them goes to a box called AHVAC (???). I have looked for the acronyms and Sunnyside (Frank) already ask for the definition of this acronym and it was mention the air conditioning system but I am not sure....But still there is no sign of a link towards the problem you have....

According to Loren on Renntech AHVAC can be "Automatic headlight vehicle adjustment control" which sounds really good....

Did you possibly disconnect something else when doing this and didn't reconnect, I had a similar problem once, I disconnected the battery waited 20sec and reconnected and it worked fine?? Possible reset of ECU??

Finally!! problem solved... and guess what nobody that worked on the car is clear on what actually happened or how it got resolved.. All i can say is that last week i requested to put back the OEM exhaust since i was going crazy with the Fabspeed racing catalytic and bypass pipes and after completing the install the oil level check feature came back to life.... no more complaints of the car not being level... few things i confirmed in this quest is that the car level feedback comes from the Litronic system and that maybe just maybe the weight of the OEM exhaust (compared to the Cats / bypass) contributed on some mysterious way... in conclusion I'm happy now, this chapter is closed yeahhh..
