X50 tt cab with pccb

As you can tell from my signature,I have been back and forth between the CT and the TT cab
I am now very happy with my 11' CT(PTV,PDCC and PCCB)and plan to keep it for a while and am looking forward to a few mods
However, having a convertible would be pleasantbut I can't put more than 60-70K into it.
I am considering an 04' X50 turbo tip cab with pccb,10K miles for 70K
Any thoughts,recommendations,advice is most welcome
Thanks in advance

If you track a lot I would highly recommend ditching the PCCB's.

is the 996 going to be a daily driver?
Given the fact you had a 997 TT cab, I think you might be disappointed by the interior. the 997 was a major step ahead.
have you actually seen the car in person?

My DD would be my 11 Cayenne Turbo, which has a beautiful interior and amazing sound system(Burmester and dvd-a)
The cab would be for an occasional spirited drive top down
I have not yet seen the car in person
I am sure the interior is not the same, but with only a few mods I bet i will have a cab just as fun to drive
I have seen almost no X50 996 tt cabs with 10K miles for sale(is cpo)
The 05 tts i have seen online are at close to 80K$..or else with many miles
The only thing I am not crazy about this car is the tiptronic...

I hope they have low or no sales tax in FLA or your making the state government wealthy for no good reason. Tip Turbos cost more new but sell at a discount used. If you're not going to modify the car, then paying a little extra for the X50 is worth it. The PCCB are fantastic brakes (no fade and no freaking brake dust) but cost a fortune to replace the rotors (supposedly good for a 100K). I would not use PCCB brakes for a track car unless money was no object.

The car appears in a fair price range subject to your intended use.
