Unhappy PSM/ABS lights on

After installing EVO intake, I over revved in the first gear and PSM/ABS lights came on. after 5 minutes ENGINE light came on also.

OMG.. now I have to take it to the dealer.

I tried resetting the ecu and try install intake again but nothing worked.

Its probably an air leak or your MAF is being overwhelmed by the new strong air flow. You could try changing out a with a friends MAF before taking it in. Just a thought but Iam no expert.

Check your connections and make sure everything has been tightened correctly.

When you say over-revved, did you simply bounce the engine off the rev-limiter on acceleration or did you miss a downshift and send the rpm's to the moon?

Bouncing the engine off the rev-limiter on acceleration shouldn't hurt the motor as long as you don't make it a habit. On the other hand, missing a down-shift say going from 3rd to 1st can send bit's and piece' out of the exhaust.

That's good news, it should be fine. Hopefully it turn's out to be something simple.

Tech says too much power caused those problems. I don't think its intake's fault.

maybe my driving was too hard. that caused something break.

tried erasing fault codes but didnt work. so I had to make an appointment on 27th.
