I would have a pro do it. Should be between $150 and $250 max. You can get crap in the cluster even if your careful but worst is if you damage a needle or motor. They are very delicate. Can be done though. If I remember correctly the 02 and newer are even more delicate.

+1...

It is really easy to damage the motors while pulling the needles out or it you drop it while doing it. Repair will cost about 5K if you let the dealer fix it. Also make sure whoever does it has done it before...on Porsches.

It's not really that hard - just go slowly and be very careful. I did a little writeup here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996-turbo-gt2/240501-meister-gauge-faces-first-impressions.html#post3164827

Like others said... It is very tedious changing these. Be very careful or have a pro do it.

The ones I got off eBay were $19.99. They're decals that don't require removing the needles. Yes, better to have a pro do it. I told mine to do the tach, and call me on the looks and quality. He was positive and did the rest. About $100.00, but he did some other work (total $198.00) They're beautiful....and I can remove them easily if I get tired of them. I don't think I will, though.

Mine's an '03.
