Should be able to. Have a few more options with the stock bumper - I had some mesh in and zip tied it to the ducts inside the bumper. I have also seen others remove the plastic on the stock bumper and replace with mesh.

Another option for those wanting to change the front end on the 996tt is the RUF Rturbo front end. It is very similar to the GT2 front end, made in Germany out of the same material as OEM, fits perfectly and mates up correctly with the stock 996tt radiator ducting. No guesswork or mods involved, just bolt and go...

I think its time for the rear wing it will def even out the aggressive front end.
