I just flashed mine. Lots more responsive across the entire rev range even on 91 craptane pump gas, no codes, no issues. Gets the K24 to spool up much faster, pulls 1.2 bar now. Easiest and cheapest mod for power you can do.

Dude, you are more than welcome to drive my car! Are you in the Phoenix area? I work in Scottsdale and live in Gilbert. Just give me the word and you can see how you like a lightly modded turbo (flash, exhaust, etc). By the way, my car has 85k miles and it looks and drives as new. I'm 6"4 and no issues at all. I'm a big m3 fan (daily is an e36 m3), but the 996tt is just pure hotness!

I got a softronic flash for several reasons. You upload you stock file to them and they send you back a modded file (plus your stock file) based on your mods and octane. You can switch back and forth as you need to (smog test etc). The whole thing is on your laptop and takes less than 15 minutes. If you're running basic off the shelf mods it works great. I'm sure if you've gone wild with mods there may be better custom tuners out there, but for the average guy this tune works great.
