Multiple 996 Turbos
Curious which you perfer, cab or coupe?
I'm on my 2nd 996 Cab, this time a Turbo and we've had a Boxster for nearly 9 years with still under 30k miles. To me the top down adds so much more to the P-car experience. Maybe it has something to being an avid motorcyclist and loving being in the wind.
A Turbo Coupe or GT3 sounds nice in 29 degree weather with heated seats, but if it's above 40 or 50 a cab seems the only way to go.

Now the coupe is highly modded and the cab only has wheels, DV's and a panel filter, which is where the performance aspect comes in (about 600whp vs oem 414 crank)
yea which is why unless its two 996 turbos, dont bother posting.

I think its to help find reasons for myself and others who only have 1 996tt, to get that second one. At least, that's why I am reading it: )
I would say the point is that it's fairly common for owners of multiple Porsche 911s to own different types from different eras; such as a 996 Turbo and a 930 Turbo, etc. But it seems rare to find a Porsche owner who has more than one 996 Turbo. Just curiosity on my part....and for instance, Lennon31987 added some real world experience and interesting information regarding the differences between his convertible and coupe 996 Turbos.....
