RWD will actually greatly improve drivability. Look in the 60-130 thread ....... There is a reason you will see most of the fastest cars are RWD.

Back on topic I've had 18g's and 20g's. The price jump is significant but if you want do it nce and do it right go with the 20's.

I'd be looking at an x50, so it would have the larger intercoolers, but from what I read, they're not much of an improvement. I wouldn't mind slapping in larger injectors, but I also read that the stock pump isn't good for it.
18gs with 1 bar Wgs, injectors, ICs, intake to turbos, exhaust, and maybe a EBC for race gas option... thats it... btw, your wrong about the stock pump.... stock pump with injectors is good for low 600s to the wheels.. and your never even going to get there at 91 octane....

X50 does not have larger IC's....you definitely want to go aftermarket, as there are many good options.

Like I said, do everything at once. The beauty of these motors is that they handle double the hp that they came with from the factory and are very reliable.

i have a x50 with all the mods necessary for the set up. there not much lag; when i am on it , i am always above 3500 rpms. you should ask yourself this; am i going to race around the street or set records? if you're on the street, k 16, 24, or 18g will due just fine.. people always talk about hp, i would spend some good $$ on some suspension and, i think, you will find that even the k16 car will due just fine, that is, if you're on street... mark ski is right, don't worry about horse power. my car is very fast, the fastest, hell no.

I seem to able to pull and hold 1.1 bar and sometimes 1.2 bar on OEM K24 (X50), flash, exhaust, headres, and DVs. No other mods on 91 craptane.
