Feedback on 3rd Gen Fabspeed Sport Maxflo 996tt

I am thinking of getting a Fabspeed Sprt Maxflox exhaust my only concerns is don't want drone. I have a 996 Turbo, ecu upgrade 440 hp at the wheel I don't want to make a bad decision. Everything I see about Fabspeed is great, power quality, and cost. Any one out there that can give me advice. Thanks

I think tiptronics have more issues with drone then the 6 speed cars.. dont know if you have a tip or not, I have a tip and have drone at the 2000 to 3000 rpm range . switzer exhaust.. dont know if any exhausts out there have zero drone..

I have a Tip with Fabspeed Quiet and "virtually" no drone (and my ears are very sensitive to noise).

Thanks for feedback guys, its a great help for someone who doesn't know what to expect with a new exhaust. But we designed the two versions for each transmission so it makes the perfect sound for both.
thanks,

I have a 996 TT Cab with Tip. My Fabspeed has virtually no drone. I know that Fabspeed have version for the Tip and also the Cab.

Follow up on Fabspeed

I did't put all the details on my 996tt. Mine is a 6 speed manual 2003 with Renntech ecu upgrade, which is putting 440 HP to the wheel. Good feedback on the forum. I am going to test drive a turbo next week that does have a Fabspeed exhaust, I will give you my impressions then. I don't know what generation it has but I heard 3rd Gen is much improved. Thanks

I had a fabspeed maxflow gen 3 I think that I bought in 2008 new. I think they made the gen 3 at that time or was it a gen 2? Anyway, I put it on a turbo S cab and loved it. It was the moderate version and had just the right growl to it. I miss it, but have a switzer on a coupe that I love too but two different sounds.

Fabspeed and Switzer Exhaust

Thanks for the response. Titan Motors here in Orlando carries Switzer it looks nice. How would you describe the difference in sounds. Fabspeed Sport Maxflo vs Switzer. I will go to a site to try to hear the difference. Some one suggested that I use headphones to listen to the sound tracks and it makes a big difference using my Bose headphones vs computer speakers. Thanks for the feedback.
