Darren: don't you think that MIchelin brake dust repellent is too strong for our wheels? I am afraid they will ruin the lip

I noticed a significant decrease in brake dust accumulation when I switched from P21S Gel to Sonax wheel cleaner. The P21S cleaned well, but left a residue that brake dust would adhere to. The Sonax wheel cleaner cleans well and rinses clean. I also apply Einszett's ( www.einszettna.com ) Metallic Polish Wax (chemical cleaner with a polymer sealant) which helps keep the wheel cleaner and makes future cleanings easier. Sonax products are a little tough to find, I get mine here: www.carcareonline.com

The product just came out this month. I did some lookin around and found out that you can get the products at various Autozones. Call up your local AZs to see if they have it.

Have you ever seen the Michelin commercial where the Black SL55 with HRE's is flying around the track driven by the Michelin man?

Well, since that SL55 had HRE's, and this product is approved by Michelin, you can use it on your HRE's without fear.

Just sue the bastards if it ruins your lip!
