Factory Aero lip Fiberglass or urenthane??

Ok, so I just got my car last week. And buddy at the shop cracked my front aerokit lip in the process.

Not that bad, but I'm gonna get it replaced.

Anyways, the one that is on my car is definetly fiberglass. Does that mean it's a replica? I've looked around and if the factory one is not urethane, I would prefer to get the MASHAW urethane lip to avoid future damage.

So I just need to know if the OEM aerokit lip from the dealership is urethane or fiberglass?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your response! Any others second that?

I've heard from others that it is fiberglass.

factory front lip is urethane and unpainted. you have aftermarket. go with an aftermarket urethane. fiberglass lip makes no sense.

They make sense if you're skimping on quality, but that's about it. A lot of aftermarket front ends are fiberglass, but most shops or suppliers will say the lip needs to be urethane. The cost difference is relatively small and it's well worth it.

Agreed, just paid around $850 for a oem aero lip in poly. I have a pretty steep driveway and my car is low so I figured it was the best choice.
