Anyone here prefer running without exhaust tips?

Just a curious question from my point of view, but anyone out there running without exhaust tips? I didn't realize until recently how excited some people get about the tips (changing the color, etc.) but also curious if some just go 'commando' and run without them? If so, let's see some pictures.

I've done it briefly when switching between two exhausts. The tips are one of the highlights of the rear end, I always find my eyes drawn to them on every 996 I look at, to see if I can find something I might want to switch to in the future. For now I am enjoying my blacked out x50 tips. Wow we find interesting things to talk about here dont we!: )

Yes, we do find interesting things to talk about. LOL!

I have a set of Fabspeed straight pipes on the way to me, and was just pondering how they'd look without tips...that's what led me down this road.

Exhaust tips are there for more than just looks.

If the exhaust pipes do not come past the bumper, you will get a HUGE sound difference in a bad way.

The cabin will resonate very badly, the sound will give you a headache in a matter of minutes because the gasses are bouncing off of the back bumper.
