Rear Strut top access on Cabriolet
Rear Strut top access on Cabriolet
Top's half up, open clamshell, cables unlatched, window moved up.
What's next to remove the felt cover exposing the strut tops? I'd like to do this as simply as possible and not remove things that I don't have to.
From What I've read it looks like I can use a 13/16 spark plug socket, wrench and a 7mm allen instead of the special tool for strut removal. I have read how to remove the struts for lower springs fitment, just need to know how to access top rears.
TIA

Should be 4 black plastic horizontal retaining rivets that hold the felt cover on towards the front (right behind the rear seats). You just pull these out and pull back the felt to expose the top of the struts.
