911tuning vs Europipe Loud

Looking for some good sound clips of the 996 Europipe Loud exhaust and Markski's 3 inch race exhaust, both with 100 cell cats. My GT2 is on the way so this will be the first thing changed. So far issues:

Europipe is overpriced and offers no weight savings
What type of cats are used in the 911 race exhaust for longevity purposes?
What are hp gains without a tune for both?
What is the max hp these exhausts can be used with for tuned cars?

Plan on 600bhp max, but who knows once I get the mod virus.

I do like the Cargraphic too.

I would go with Markski's also. I have the Speedtech 3" which you should also check out. Amazing sound and similar weight savings to Markski's exhaust.

I do not believe Marek has published any back pressure numbers. Stef has. Unless you have numbers, calling one less restrictive isn't really fair. (and as an owner of both exhausts in the past, I am not being biased.)

Both are great. Different enough that if you do your research you will know.
Markski can go all custom for you too.

The problem with your dyno #'s is that it is on high hp modded cars. A better dyno would be to show a stock car vs. a stock car with your exhaust. Do you have 1?

Nope... none of my clients put them on stock cars... lol
I have only various dynos with other power adders...
an 18g car with the exhaust at 1 bar peaking 1.1 on oem wastegates on 93 octane made 540whp on a dynojet... others with just exhaust and 18gs at 1.3 bar made 589 AWHP on a mustang... on and on...

I have a custom EP XX Loud with 997 RSR cats and love it. That being said, If I was to buy a different exhaust, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to deal with Mark.

I think the better question is could EP produce Markski's numbers? Somehow, I doubt it. Something to consider for down the road. I'll soon be on my third exhaust. Just sayin.

Maybe so, you have great references from many 6speeders, but how hard would it be to do a stock 996 dyno vs. a 996 with your exhaust? For me, I like to see how much each mod adds to performance. Not everyone has the means to do complete packages immediately. Might sell a few more exhausts.

I make probably 10 different variations of one exhaust alone... your asking me to do one dyno test for you.. then the next guy will say what about if you change muffler sizes , then the next guy will ask if I dynoed the stock car with catless version... on and on... and thats just on oem car.. consider then k16 billets, 18g cars, A28 cars... 30r cars.. blow thru cars.. etc...
The exhaust for a stock car would not have the same ID mufflers as as the one for a 700hp car.. etc... I do not buy them and resell them.. I make them per order per client ... I can understand your point of view if they all were uniform... but they are not... so if I make a 2.5" ID muffler with louvered cores it will not yield the same results as one with 3" perforated cores... or one with 100 cell cats compared to 200 or 300 cell cats...
I would have to run a dyno 24 hours a day 7 days a week to satisfy all requests... by then I would be also broke... and probably turn 70 by the time I would finish...
There are others on the board that are good companies too..... Switzer makes a nice system, Speedtech, etc,....

IDK how to brake it to you... same exhaust, catless -the race version...( Rob's car)...

mr Bob, with all due respect you dont need to be a rocket scientist to look at the two and tell right away which is less restrictive .

secondly ,i dont need numbers to tell me which is less restrictive, numbers are just numbers that can be made to whatever someone wants, i have NEVER seen the europipe make big boy numbers ,marks does on alot of cars not just one.

and lastly ,i have personaly seen the europipe CHOKE on high horsepower applications !!
