Intercooler Upper Hose Loose?
Intercooler Upper Hose Loose?
I'm having a bit of trouble from the upper driver side boost hose on the intercooler side. It seems like it doesn't want to play nice and stay seated.
I can tug onto the boost hose and it feels like there is play unlike the other connection points. On all the other connection points, it feels pretty solid where it won't move at all.
I thought originally that the boost hose came loose and took the rear bumper off but the clip was in the right place and fit nicely. I can tug nice and hard and it won't come off but again there is play. Never had this issue with stock hoses. Been trying to troubleshoot this for a while. I am currently using the AP Hoses from Vivid. Any suggestions would be highly accepted.
Appreciate it.

what is the issue... if its in there. .the clamp is in tact... what are you worried about?
one real way to find out is to pressure test from the turbos... you block one side off and pressure the other... lets say 20 psi.. if it holds it s fine.. also, move it a little , including all other hoses, while under pressure... see if they leak...... if yes then you have a problem...
you need something like this plus air compressor...

I'm was just wondering wondering, if there is play on the upper driver side hose on the intercooler side, is it usually the boost hoses or are there cases where the intercooler mount gets worn out.
